i had no idea that this song was a cover (originally by Walter Egan) until it played while i was having my teeth looked at at the dentist. I think it may have been the visit where they were doing an emergency wisdom tooth extraction. i remember him putting the anesthetic in and i was sining a long to this waiting for my mouth to go numb.
